Amuse

Amuse is a South Korean colour cosmetics brand best known for lip products and light base formulas, and for positioning itself around vegan formulation.

“Vegan” on a beauty label means the formula is intended to contain no animal-derived ingredients — no beeswax, lanolin, carmine, silk or milk proteins. It is a separate claim from “cruelty-free”, which concerns animal testing policy, and neither tells you how gentle, effective or well-preserved a product is. Certification schemes differ between countries, so the logo on a Korean product may not come from the body that certifies in your market.

As with any makeup, the practical questions stay the same: read the full INCI list if you react to fragrance or particular dyes, patch test new lip and base products, and replace eye and lip items once their smell or texture changes. Brand positioning is not a substitute for reading the ingredient list.
